About me
I am a painter who specializes in acrylics and gouache, while also expanding my skills to the digital canvas. My work is characterized by its vivid colours, abstract patterns, or cute and mystical themes . This made the "Whimsicole" (a combination of 'Whimsical' and 'Nicole') a perfect fit for my brand.

Growing up, I was always fascinated by the animated programs I watched. Their magical worlds and captivating stories sparked a passion in me for creating my own stories through art. I started drawing, realizing just how much I could do with nothing more than pencil and paper. In my teenage years, I pursued art professionally and honed my skills in a specialized arts school program , which played a pivotal role in shaping my distinctive style and preferred mediums.
Sometimes, my artwork serves as a reflection of my journey towards self-discovery and self-love. It has a crucial role in helping me overcome internalized racism and anxiety about adulthood by allowing myself the means to embrace my cultural identity and child-like imagination. My art also celebrates my love for music and animation. Many of my pieces include works of my favourite artists and television characters.
